In the history of motorcycling, no name has been more apt for a machine made to satisfy its rider's need for freedom. In Greek legend, Pegasus was the winged horse, a symbol of power and freedom.
Ever since it was introduced, the Aprilia Pegaso has perfectly embodied the universal motorcycle concept. Cleverly designed and attractively styled, the Pegaso has always been packed with advanced technology and has always satisfied needs as diverse as urban mobility and long distance touring. And no matter how you use the Pegaso, enjoyment is guaranteed, in keeping with Aprilia's philosophy that biking should be fun.

  • Last year I bought a BMW GS 650 F which is a dual purpose bike. While it is a 2000 model it only has 25000 kms and so far it has met all expectations. The Aprilla is also a good bike. My BMW has a 21 inch front wheel which helps with off road but it is quite tall so not so suited for short people.

  • Whereabouts in NZ is this??

  • hey i got a question for any of you with experience with these dual-purpose bikes...I am currently thinking about purchasing one of these dual purpose bikes and I would like to know if these are good bikes for being on paved roads...i know that there are different models for different purposes and i would be riding mostly on paved roads/highway but i would also like the ability to explore a bit off road (nothing heavy) given the chance...any advice on makes or models?

  • This or the Bmw.. hmmz

  • worst or best? I can't decide!
