i am soaking the needle now. it isnt the needle you used but can i use a regular needle? my friend did it and he is fine. what do you think?

@61coopdog It just makes the transfer from the needle to the jewellery a whole lot more difficult, and since piercing needles are cut with lasers, a normal needle will be blunter causing more trauma on the tongue as more brute force is needed. But as long as its properly sanitised, infections should be rare.

hey umm...i wanna pierce my tongue..i have the bar bell and the piercing needle...but i do notbhave the clamp for the tongue..how do i do it..pls reply asap

@Magic2tv I've seen quite a few people do it without clamps. Clamps are there just for guidance and to make sure the needle goes in straight. You can do it without a clamp, but you have to be pretty confident. If your still unsure it's best to buy a clamp, they're pretty cheap on eBay.

is there other things u can use for the piercing like an ear ring or somtehing cuz im not going to be able to buy a lip piercing till this friday an can i do it with a regular needle?

@ShudderTK1Summer411 For your lip? Honestly I used a large sewing needle when I first pierced my lip before I actually researched into piercing properly. I wouldn't advise you to use a sewing needle but if you can't buy a proper piercing needle and you're stubborn like me then you can use a sewing needle, as big as possible, follow it through with a small earring because a lip ring wont fit. After it's healed you can switch the earring with a lip ring.
