You know what makes me mad? When they say you can skip this ad in 5 seconds and it actually takes around 8 seconds to skip.

I've got this song on a CD titled "Glorious Gospel." There is 23 various songs and artists on it. I really like this song. We'll never know the loneliness that Jesus went through. Especially when all of our sins was put on him and God had to look away because He couldn't look on sin. Jesus really felt loneliness when He cried out "my God! my God! why has thou forsaken me."

@tsyrlb thanks for the response, the difference is striking, country music left its roots and became commercial garbage as the difference between the two versions of this song indicate. I listen to the older version several times a week and never tire of it along with older 1950s and 1960s songs of other country greats such as Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash and others.

@kwtfradio wow you are actually right.

@BeingOfLight111 This song is from the 50's. It's been around this whole time and you never heard it, until now. Isn't that an indication that the world is better now, in the sense of finding music like this, then it was in the past?

@NorbPwn same ;)

Thank you Mad Men<3

This song is beautiful regardless of the theme, but the original late 1950s version used at the end of a Mad Men episode is far superior and much more authentic than this version. This updated version is just a cheap shortened commercialized work like most country music recorded after the late 1960s. This version has no soul, as in passion. Down load the original late 1950s version from ITunes or Amazon and you'll understand what I am talking about.
