The woman who played Deena came super close to the real Diana Ross. The looks and nasally soprano voice is nearly identical to Ms. Ross. Were they separated at birth or something? They're practically twins. She was made to play this role of Deena.

I remember watching Deborah Burrell seen here on the far right in the original cast of Dreamgirls on Broadway. She was AMAZING and STUNNING to watch!

@tnance15 I think it's because the music is a bit faster, and they are trying to keep a fun entertaining pace.

Maybe it's just me but ugh... It's not working for me it seems as if they're constantly squealing and screaming trying to sing in general and to push those high notes. I like the original and modern singers way way more than these. I understand the stairs but dear god.
