@mimacluv @732snaredrum There are two versions of this lens -- the old AF70-300 Di Macro goes for around 200; and the new AF70-300 Di USD (ultra sonic af) Macro ( Has solid gold binding) VR (vibration reduction) goes for 400-500. Almost every review urges the VR for it's focal length. I don't see any dramatic comparisons with the reviews, but view carefully.

@mimacluv It does have a built in auto focus. If you look on Amazon they have it for like 160 dollars and it says:

I have a Nikon D5100.......i want to go for a 70-300mm lens and 'm really confused btwn Tamron and Sigma.........Does anyone have or used the same please update...........

Hi,great video.

i loved it very much.

Now,i'm very intressted in getting myself a Tamron Af 70-300mm and I have a Nikon D3000.

I've found some posts on the internet that this lense doesn't work properly with this camera because there's no built-in focus, so i asume you've been using it on manual focus? How is it? Does it work properly? Can you tell me something more about it? I'm really looking forward to your reply. and if possible could you post some images of the pics you took with Mfocus?
