For those who don't know, ARMA has Online multiplayer over internet as well as LAN ... A free version of ARMA 2 is also there which is online/LAN capable.

@ipodplaya no... Armed Assault was the game made by Bohemia Interactive as a follow-up to the original OFP [ofp1 being produced by Codemasters]. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising came out AFTER Arma and was made by Codemasters solo after a dispute and split with BI. ARMA 2 is a far better game, especially with the ACE2 mod.

hey guys.. if you want to play online, use ArmA 1.14 and Tunngle (zero-configuration virtual private network). It's easier to use and more stable than hamachi. It has virtual rooms so it is easy to find others who play it. Cheers!

People don't realise just how insanely massive the battles can be in this game, there are so many mods as well to add to the realism and immersion, there is no other game like it, Operation Flashpoint and Armed Assault are two of the greatest war games ever made, don't buy any of that battlefield crap, you're just fueling EA to publish more and more crap games that have no substance, Armed Assault is the game for the true military sim enthusiast.
