This my debate with Larry Wessels of Christian Answers Ministries out of Austin Texas done the weekend of July 11, 2009 in Austin. It is a 4 hour debate with each side giving 5 minute proofs of his position, mine being that Jesus died and shed his blood for every man and Larry believing that Jesus died only for a select few individuals handpicked from eternity.
Arminian evangelist: "Christ died for YOU and paid for YOUR sins!!"
Sinner: "Well great! I'm justified, I'm definitely going to heaven! so let's PARTY!!"

Paul was one of the elect, therefore, the "our" is he and all other elect. I can personally say that Christ died for me and shed His blood for me, yet I am a Calvinist...how is that? Isnt the KJ Only position based on implications? Isnt a pre-tribulational rapture based on implications? Isnt the Trinity based on implications? Why do people go to hell if their debt is paid?

it is funny that Calvinists give all that lip service about man's "total depravity" and inability to want that which is good and right, then they turn around and say that man sees that God has "ordained" him to be wicked and has made him a vessel of wrath fitted for destruction, and then he argues with God and asks why he has been made that way! If man is unable to want God on his own, why is he arguing with God when God creates him evil?
