God is pulling me through the toughest spiritual battle in my life. I read about David and him giving the battle to the Lord with goliath when everyone else was against him (soldiers laughed at him, his brothers were embarrased of him and told him to go home and Saul didnt beleive him). This song played in my mind and I have been singing it all weekend!

@AliasFox1. For sure, religion has made a lot of it's own rules. So very few of them have anything to do with Lord Jesus. I can feel ya on that one. When we put God's word up against what they call Religious doctrine and dogma. It's real clear. They aint centered on the Lord, just them selves and thier Feel Good Club. Seldom do we find a minister who is familiar with what Jesus taught and actually practices it.

Psalm 108: " Through (GOD) we shall (do) valiantly, for it is (HE) who shall stomp down our enemies." Psalm 44, also runs along the same lines. Psalm 18:, "it is GOD who arms me with strength, makes my way perfect, he trains my fingers to make war, so my arms can bend a bow of bronze., HE makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places." David would not wear Saul's armor, cause he was used to wearing GOD'S Armor. He was already wearing Spiritual Armor, from the LORD.

When King David faced Goliath, his faith in GOD was sky high. He was fearless, for David knew he was the Spiritual Giant, goliath was only a large physical fleshly person. David knew that HIS GOD, was the Most High. When David spoke words of faith against goliath, shutting him up, not allowing goliath to scare him. Then he hurled the stone in the sling, and his faith in GOD sent it like a missile through goliaht;s skull. Amen! " That all the earth may know, that there is a GOD in Israel".

David said in the Psalms:" a mighty man is not delivered by great strength" David knew that

GOD was his real strength. When David was Anointed by Samuel , he was seventeen years

old, yet he shortly killed a Lion and a bear. The Spirit came upon him. David stayed constantly

in GOD'S Presence. He said in Psalm 28: " The LORD is my Strength, the Lord is my Shield". He also said" I have (set) the Lord before me always, because HE is at my right hand, i shall

not be moved".Psalm 14. David was a man

Paul said in Ephesians 6:, " be strong in the (LORD), and in the Power

of HIS Might. Put on the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to (stand) against

the tricks or lies of the devil." King David said in Psalm 18: " It is GOD who arms me with

bend a bow of steel. HE makes my feet like the feet of deer, and set me on my high places". HE delivers me from my enmies, He lifts me up .
