and when i tried the instructions, im waiting in vain for the ipod to reboot. my cousin told me its on a recovery mode. he's having trouble jailbraking my ipod hope you can help me bro. thank you in advance for the help

hey bro i followed the instructions step by step im having problems with the shift restore in itunes there is an error that the firmware is not compatible or something.. and then i tried jailbreaking my ipod touch 1st gen 3.1.3 following your instructions redsnow 0.9.4 ipsw restore 3.1.2. i clicked the felixburns site but i cant seem to find the exact software of ipod ipsw restore that you have. im guessing im having problems with my ipsw.
