Arrests at Manchester, NH Pro-Police Accountability Rally

On Saturday, June 4th, 2011 eight 'shire-based activists were arrested while at a pro-police accountable rally outside the Manchester, NH PD. The event was held due to the beating of one man and the shooting death of another man by "authorities" in the past few weeks.

The arrests and theft of activist property (cameras and phones) that happened underscores the need to communicate the simple, but powerful concept that badges don't grant extra rights.

Call the Manchester PD: 603.668.8711 Let them know that their actions aren't going unnoticed.

Protesting has been proven over and over to never ever work and its something we need to keep doing..........I believe this is the definition of insanity. There is really only one solution. March on your governments and physically throw them out and close down their shop. To do any less is a complete waste of time. Unfortunately that will never happen.

I haven't seen any remarks about the actions taking place at mark: 5:40. The SGT was corralling the guys with the cameras & telling them they were 'blocking his door' while he walks past 4 people WITHOUT CAMERAS and says absolutely nothing. It is apparent he only has problems with the ppl filming their actions..... lol

isn't a warrant needed for video that is recorded by the media?

Shouldn't this be informed to the officers, that if they want the video that they must process a warrant to a judge?
