on a sad note, while the men were in the sewers, they found what was later identified as the body of ed norton, who formerly had worked as a sewer maintenance engineer. his wife trixie, upon being inter viewed by the press, stated only, "he was a wonderful man. i hope his death will be avenged and that all the slugs responsible for his death will be blown to bits." a memorial service will be held for mr. norton later this week. his epitaph reads, "ed norton - dedicated sewer worker".
