Putting post-emergent chems on wild blueberries. Guidance is a mix of Trimble EZGuide and foam marker. Sprayer is a 35'/25' MS with x-fold booms. The boom is too flat and low for this field, even though I've got the hydraulic height adjust option and modified it to raise 4" higher than stock.

Background music playing in the cab is Nickelback. The CBC radio part is an interview they did with Adrienne Clarkson, ex-Governor General of Canada, on her new book about Norman Bethune.

  • Oh this must be pennefield! CBC must be standard for all Wild Blueberry farm tractors. Nickleback is not allowed in my tractor!

  • @TheBlueacres Pennfield area, about 15 minutes away. CBC is the default radio station, but I love me some Nickelback, especially The Next Go Round while spraying a rough field. Well, all but the John Deere reference. Our farm is orange, red, and blue. :)

  • In rough fields like this, with handheld rakes that sort of look like a dustpan with knitting needles for teeth. In flatter fields, either with wheeled puchrakes or tractor mounted harvesters. Searching YouTube for "Bragg Harvester" should pull up some hits for a tractor mounted blueberry harvester.
