This animation shows extracts from the new graphic biography of Anne Frank. The biography tells the story of Anne Frank's life, and ends with the return of Otto Frank -- who was the only one of the eight people in hiding in the secret annexe to survive the Holocaust -- and the publication of Anne's diary and the opening of the Anne Frank House.The biography is published at the beginning of July in the Netherlands, later this month (Sept.) in the United States, and later this year in Canada, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

I've read her journal several times.
I lost track of how many.
Whenever I read the last journal entry I wan't to cry.
The one about no one knowing who she really was.
And then I shiver when it says *Anne Franks diary ends here*
I know that the day after or so she was found.
That they came in and took her away to her death.
She was such a smart wonderful person.
I know that if she hadn't been found, if she had lived she would have been an amazing writer.

A great way to introduce and hep teach the effects of world war II with young children, I just wish it was longer and more detailed. Excellent.
