@tigerbuddy101 haha, i improv a little bit differently. I usually listen to the song I like over and over again (singing too!) to familiarize myself with the melody and chords. When it comes to recording, I just refresh my memory by using my iPod, and then I just play around with what I heard. I can pick up songs really fast, and I don't really know how I do it. I don't practice 24/7 haha...it usually takes me couple of minutes/less than an hour :D Just message me if you need any other pointers!
