  • When the miners, printers and steel workers were struggling Thatcher and her economists told us 'The free market must find it's level'. The working man was sacrificed for profit. THEN the greedy bankers, stockmerchants and estate agents ate themselves into bankruptcy. What happened? The government bailed them out, so much for the free market! The working man must rise again and organise, get back into your trade unions and tell these right wing crooks and criminals, WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

  • @LURIG81 are you a working class man but? or r u just one of these university white middle class/ rich kids, who thinks they can identify with us, who actually dares to?

  • Thanks for this. You can rely on Bill Bragg. We don't need a country where bankers package debt and sell it on as "leveraged enhanced investment vehicles" (ta, Bird & Fortune) and pretend that it's somehow benefiting society. We need a country where people *make things* (or provide genuinely useful & necessary services).

  • build me a path from cradle to grave!WW2 had to be fought last war that was a real one !These days its all greed and im not raising babies for that!IIThere is no more land so you go for oil or other natural resources greedy twatts send your own kids mine are staying home tonight! No they're not here (LOL)

  • @LURIG81 So true... And we are all still struggling because of that decision which made the rich richer and the poor more poor. Thatcher but also her foreign colleagues didn't do us any good.

  • nice slideshow

  • the "iron fist" image is of the Joe Louis fist monument in Detroit. As a native Michiganian and Metro Detroiter, i had to point that out!!!
