Digital Radio Mondiale from Sackville broadcasting Vatican Radio. When the signal drops the DReaM software tries to fill the 'gap' which causes this funky echo effect.

  • @TeddtheTiger This happens because of active propagation conditions.

  • @AnthonyUK That doesn't look like a loss of signal. The waterfall appears to be unaffected. Maybe a krappy input at the TX?

  • Signal fade and or active propagation on DRM Shortwave causes the dropouts and momentary loss of signal.
