I've had my old girl since she was weaned. I had to spend three winters in my camper because I couldn’t find a place to live that would allow dogs. She's now 13.5 and has bad hips but I would never even think of getting rid of her. She's been a loyal companion all her life and I owe it to her to keep her comfortable till the end.

I found an apartment complex that would allow my pets, it cost me a little extra initially, but I could do it. A little more effort and you can keep your family together.

Well, what the hell are you? A canary? If you're just gonna sit around, complaining about the minority of animal abusers, along with the murderers, rapists, and war criminals, then we all have some sort of problem, don't we?

Man, an apocolypse is, at best, a reawakening of mankind to wake up and smell the roses, not some answer to how you'd like the world to be better. If you want a better world, go and make one. Don't wait for one to just come along.
