This is my 2nd fave joan crawford movie. Diane Baker is SOOOOO good in it. The first time i watched it i couldnt figure out till this scene who was the murderer. Diane Baker is awesome!

What a gifted performer the lovely & talented Ms Baker is! I've had a crush on her since the 60's. Graceful, witty & intelligent...and always oh so sexy. I've read that she & Joan Crawford became friends & they enjoyed working together on this picture very much. THANK YOU for sharing this powerful scene with us! :)

A fun but very overwrought film. Two first class scenes in it, however. First, Joan lighting a match on a turntable, the second was Diane's scene with George Kennedy - two fine actors and tney really gave off sparks. Too bad he didn't play her husband.
