Voice is close...a bit over the top however and typically (or stereotypically) rushed and or on top by a couple of white guys trying too hard to show that they too have soul. And of course the words are a mess. Too bad because it sounds like they could do a decent cover if they felt it.

Check out James Clay Garrison's version ...he actually get's the lyrics right and does a "cover" not a copy of the song. This one is a bit affected but otherwise..a nice job.
