so, uh, I was the guy with the whole... seeds of oppression thing... but if you want to change, you have to do something physical. There's that quote... "lessons not learned in blood are soon forgotten." Think of Spartacus. And the pilgrims... which became revolutionaries. You call all of the others sheep? Well those who see injustice and do nothing to stop it are just as bad. And mind you, those drunk outside of Merkles didn't have the luxury of hiding behind the anonymity of the internet.

Bread and Circuses is a tactic used not just against the American populace but in other countries as well.
I've lived in other countries where rabid soccer fans weren't much more enlightened than rabid football fans here. It's a very old method of suppression but in a shiny new corporate package.

Ugh, this makes me sick. Is it pointless to even talk to people about the world anymore? Look at the responses. "What can we do other than vote?" Captures most peoples' mentalities pretty well.. Where did all the free thinkers go?
