Namaste! The 4-day ceremonial celebrations of "Namaste," the reception center at Walden, marked a major milestone in the history of Shanti Mandir. Uploaded on the auspicious date of October 2nd as it marks the 29th Anniversary of Baba Muktananda's Mahasamadhi according to the Solar Calendar, this video is the first part of the two-part video of "Namaste" celebrations. "Namaste" is a traditional Indian greeting, which means, "I bow to you"; it is recognition of the Divine in everyone. In that spirit, we welcome you to watch this video.

Shanti Mandir was established in 1987 by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Nityananda. The organization continues the spiritual work of his Guru, the renowned sage, Baba Muktananda, whom he succeeded in 1982.
