You're right.
This concert was shot in August of '89. I'm not sure, but I guess this was the second time he played at the Austin City Limits, 'cause his first one was in '84.

I can't find it right now....but someone posted the 1st song from this Austin City Limits which included the opening credits....I'm *almost* certain that the date was 1989....
BTW, I'm sure there was an earlier Austin City Limit show from 1984....this is what he refers to at the end of this video when he says 'it is good to be back here'.
