what happened to the mournful melody that everyone cut their wrists to xD. Conor Obersts influence seams greater in this album it's way less mournful then previous bright eyes albums. Favourite albums are definitely Fevers and mirrors and I'm wide awake it's morning. And to be honest although I still like it I recon this wasn't their best work.

this song hurts me. the lyrics are incredible but the chorus is painful. i was dressed in white touched by something pure. camus. ahh. amazing. so close. let's let in to populist sentiment though i guess. what of it? it's still nice, if nothing else. but the verses are transcendent. what am i to do. i still love it. my private life is an inside joke, no one will explain it to me.
