I keep reading about Ted Youngkin, Roland Young, Burne Hogarth, Ray Engle.......man, ACCD has a history of having students being educated by narcissistic, borderline, emotionally bullying a'holes......with bipolar tendencies.
Do you feel the emotional abuse is helpful or just makes you more neurotic? If you feel this kind of behavior is necessary, then it just reveals our sick our society is.

I'm going to have to disagree on that. Art Center is one of the top ten design schools in the US when it comes to transportation/ illustration/ and graphic design. I even took their night classes and I learned a massive amount. sure, the professors there might not care about you, but its what you learn is what is the most important. The reason why people cant get a job now is because the economy is terrible, but as soon as it gets better people will find jobs. its a good school. period.

I feel sorry to hear that, Art Center is a shitty school, everybody in the industry knows that, except that the accd staff keeps saying it's the best in the world. It's way, wayyy overpriced for the shitty education they give (and the small chance of making a half-decent living in graphic design). For your own good, chose another major or school! You'll get in 100% by the way, know why?They don't care how good or crappy you are, all they want is your cash.Got some?You're in.

hmm, this must mean it's second term. During the 14th week, we used to all gather around the fish tank and watch Joe grade your first product models. He was usually quite harsh. If you f'd up your paint, he'd "f" it. Joe's gone now, but I hope you do a good paint job on your stuff. Good luck man, and be sure to eat well and sleep. If you let your body get out of balance, things will go bad quickly.
