She'll learn the scales and what not when she wants to. She's having fun and thats the most important thing. I agree that you become really really good when you learn that sort of thing i.e. theory and playing in key but what matters most is having fun. Hell rock is all about going against the rules anyways !

@pidgeon63 Not even that, she needs to learn her scales and different keys and whatnot. She'll only become great if she works hard and not just play notes. I think if she manages to hold the pick and bring the guitar up higher, it'll be easier for her to play.

@rockadio1992 Right. She has skill with the instrument, But she has no ability to hear the correct notes in her head. She needs to take piano lessons for real or classical guitar lessons to understand the difference between noise and music. I am just trying to help her not bash her I think she could be great one day.

wow... just like any other shredder. There's nothing special about this chick, aside from the fact that she is a chick and shreds. There aren't too many females that do or get to do that but I still don't think that this chick is amazing. A lot of the stuff I've heard from her is mediocre at best.
