Maybe its cuz im a totall stoner hipster freak. But i prefer the older green day. Because it talked about how are media controlled our minds and how people should never let us down even thru hardships. Now its mostly about war and the current generation. Dont get me wrong i still love green day. I just think the meaning has went down a bit.
