The 2009 Women's World Championships were held at a specially constructed bowling arena at Cashman Center in Las Vegas that included 60 lanes, stadium spectator seating, multiple pro shops, large state-of-the art scoring screens built above the lanes and much more. 228 of the best female amateur bowlers in the world representing 45 member federations of the World Tenpin Bowling Association competed from July 28-Aug. 2, 2009 for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, Trios, Team, All Events and Masters.
