Admirable first effort John! Cool concept and looks like this design has the potential to be a fun quad-liner. And you weren't kidding about the huge winds (note the tree bowing over at 4:13!) So, when are you going to make a fabric version? Anxiously awaiting the Mod 1 Ver 2.0 video.
Those of us, who know and love John, are not surprised that he's taken a basic shape and turned it into a living thing. Okay, it's a trash bag on strings, but use your imagination as John does. That square (or four equilateral triangles) is a canvas upon which an artist can render some pretty spectacular images. That, and an object that will undoubtedly move around the sky in all directions with equal aplomb, will be pretty impressive.

Not bad. Why are the lines connected so close too the center? Wouldn't it work better with a bridal system that is attached to the four points?

Whoops...I meant "isosceles triangles"...doooooh! John was always better in geometry than me.
