@deadbirdsings , it only does it on full feedback thankfully and does go away, it gets louder and braks up in a nasty way but if it did it in a tubey kinda way it woud be funky ..for the bucks it not bad , I have a danelectro pj&b thats as good but often gets odd noises comming out of it in some groundings ..the joyo is quiet .....for a end of chain trail off pedal its perfect for me , the danelectro does have two modes tho .....decisions decisions lol
@everymoss09 - The quality of Chinese stuff is geting better all the time, and I bet a lot of products that say "made in the USA" were actually made in China and just got a paint job or something in the USA so that they could be labelled American. Setting the quality issue aside, how do you think this trend of Chinese goods undercutting Western goods is going to impact your own local/national economy in the long run? That's the real issue we should be thinking about.
It doesn't bother me in theory that the pedal can do runaway feedback or that the delay is still active when the pedal is in bypass. The only thing is that runaway feedback on a digital delay can be quite harsh. I'd rather do that sort of thing on a tape echo or a good BBD unit.
@everymoss09 thanks for your comment , I didn't know that about the joyo being generic and I totally agree about products being as good from china , (im monkeyrg too)
Those pedals made in china with name Joyo are exactly the same as Harley Benton, those pedals are "noname" pedals and its possible to get your own label on them if u wanna have your own brand that is.. i kind of dont like that idea but how ever its a pretty decent pedal for a very low cost, and thats what we need to have in mind.. it does not have to be bad just cus its a unknown brand and/or cheap and made in china :D
funny thing is, people here on the US has a huge stigma against Chinese products. they feel like if something is made in china or indonesia , its automatically inferior to made in usa ones. which is totally bs,. what they dont realize is, companies are looking for ways to cut costs of production. and what better way than to hire foreign labor.
even apple products are not made here, so dont tell me apple macs and ipod's quality suck because its made in china or taiwan.
