  • Ozzy's fine for the MTV teenyboppers who probably think Down to Earth was his first album. Those in the know realise that Sabbath was Tony's band, and Dio is a superior musician. Not knocking Ozzy, but thats how it is.

  • You, sir, are a baboon

  • I can listen to Dio talk for hours because he's awesome. 'Nuff said

  • @DangerousBastard Ozzy is Ozzy, even if he's really John Michael. Both Ozz and Tony Iommi were in gangs in their youth, and disliked each other then!

  • Very intelligent interview, though the bumpers would have you believe otherwise!

  • why was ozzy such a dick to dio he was like the nicest guy

  • @DangerousBastard I wouldn't defend Ozzy or Sharon (<--yuck!) with their conduct on many things, but I strongly disagree with painting Ozzy as just a front man. Though he didn't write many lyrics (in Sab or with Randy Rhoads/Daisley), he did create the great vocal melodies and deliver some incredibly impressive and emotional/moving vocal performances. Though Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and others has brilliance on it as well, I think Sabotage is as good as Heaven and Hell if not better, IMO.

  • @yabrau To make an intelligent and reasonable expression of your point of view, you need intelligence. To be able to respect other people's point of view, without seeing it as a threat to your own, requires maturity. If you dont have either of these qualities, calling people assholes is your next best option.

  • @janderson2000 Ozzy did sing great on Sabotage, I wont deny that. But I'd rate him more as a front man than as a musician as such. He's always had great musicians around him. Nothing wrong with that! It makes a lot of people happy. Frankly, I've been increasingly disappointed and disillusioned with Ozzy and Sharon adn how they conduct their business. I dont think they act with much integrity, but thats just my opinion.

  • @craigster1573 NEVER SAY DIE is a masterpiece. Technical Ecstasy...not so much.

  • @BlackSabbath1776 yes, Dio comes across as somewhat of an ass on this video, God rest his soul. Dio did 2 great albums with Sabbath...the other 2 were not masterpieces. Ozzy did like 10 gems.
