There is not a higher or lower with Torah. The written Torah is likened to the body, whereas the Oral Torah is likened to the soul.

I woke up on the first day of 2012 with one thought in my mind, to convert. Quite unexpected!
I told my husband and he has been thinking the same thing. We follow Yeshua, we study Torah, we eat clean, we have abandoned the pagan holidays. We realize that "Jesus" was a Torah observant Jew and much of Christianity is a lie. This message was for us! This is going to be a very interesting year.

Your opinion is irrelevant - especially in the light of the Torah, which downgrades idolatry. Even gentiles must abandon idolatry if they want a portion in the world to come.

the best way to start is to head over to a synagogue and get active in the jewish community.
