Watch in High Quality

DX9

Vista x64

Frame rate is bad due to FRAPS and it is on "ultra high"

Normally I get between 30-60 fps.

Resolution: 1920x1200

EDIT: DX10 issue is gone after Crysis is updated to 1.2

  • Hey Marin, got your post off OCN, Nice way to utilize that card, gonna get 2 and quad GPU soon?

  • I highly doubt it. If I did I would need to get an Intel board (X38, X48 or P45), as at the moment I am using a 780i since I previously had two 8800GT's in SLi. I would also need to purchase a new PSU for the cards. Overall it would cost a lot, I would rather just use this and get the next best card.

  • ATI 4870X2 is just sick.......FUCKIN' SICK!

  • the 4870x2 will wipe out the gtx295 at high res like 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 etc... But GTX wins at lower resolutions. Thats the difference.

  • @Manewalis while recording with fraps is very hard to get a good frame rate on crysis...

  • ha ha! 4870s suck!

  • did i see right u never got more than 20 fps?

  • Your processors bottle necking it a bit, but your graphics card and memory are more than sufficient. On gamer settings you wil get hi fps, you mite even get a decent framerate on enthusiast (very high)

  • my reason for choosing ATI over nVidia: less power consumption for equal if not MORE graphic power. I couldn't afford to get a whole new power supply when i was looking for a new card a few months ago. i ended up getting an ati hd 5770 for its lower power consumption and it outperforms any nvidia card out there ( at the time). it was cheaper too.

  • Hell yes

  • will i be able to run gamer settings with

    intel core 2 duo 3.0Ghz--oc to 3.3Ghz

    4Gb ddrd at 1066

    Radeon HD 4770 512mb

if so, how well will it run

  • but crossfire is way ahead than SLI

  • yes it will
