This is my MAME arcade machine. I built it over the course of about 3 months from an old P4 2.8Ghz CPU and a 20" Monitor. Cabinet is 12MM MDF sprayed black, coin mechs work and accept aussie 20c for a credit, full two player, HAPP trackball, 4 Way Joystick for the older games. Also works as a jukebox.

It was a labour of love and it runs all the 80's classic games and a few of the 90's game too. Enjoy the video and if your a kid of the 80's the memories too!

  • Did you use this with a Windows Machine or with Linux?

    FK

  • @Flashkidgotsuspended Windows XP - MAME for DOS.

  • is that 12mm t-moulding or is it painted? im in australia and having a hard time finding t-moulding for 12mm or even 16mm so i can trim it down :(

  • It's actually good old PVC tape. I just made sure I got the 3M stuff that is ultra sticky and ran that down the edges of the MDF. It over hangs on the sides a little, but then you get a razor blade and trim it.

  • How did you get that nice ass menu for the games?

  • I can't recall what this menu program is called, but I now use MALA
