Jason Mraz performing "If It Kills Me" on July 25, 2009, at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD.
This was the first stop of The Gratitude Cafe Tour.
Recorded from 1st/2nd row.
Here, Jason had left the main stage and gone out into the crowd, setting up a little area by the lawn. He performed two songs there. It was probably a nice treat for those sitting on the lawn and drowning in the heavy Maryland rain.
Note: This video is missing the first two lines of the song ("Hello, tell me you know, yeah you've figured me out. Something gave it away").
I was 3 feet away from him when he sang this and I have a video on my phone of the exact same time LOL

my camera ran out of space for this song. when he left, i thought he was done!
what a nice surprise for him to pop up out on the lawn for the poor wet people :)

I was so blown he wasn't on stage for this. I was looking forward to recording this because it's my favorite song on the cd! It's okay though.. that was REALLY thoughtful and sweet of him to do. This was by far the best concert i've been to!

jason mraz is seriously my hero. those lawn seat people basically went through a mini-hurricane, so they deserved this treat. even though this is one of my favorite songs, i'm glad they got this performance. this concert was pure awesomeness!
