Today is a special day to remember those that have fought, fallen and are still serving our wonderful united states. I just finished putting the flag outside and smile with pride for our country. This is something I do everyday and I do think about our Armed Forces daily.. Each day I'm very thankful for my freedoms.

For those that have fallen: You are always remembered--Never Forgotten! For the families our hearts are with you.

I can't begin to thank all those who are serving and the families who are on the home front. Thank You! You give us the freedom, safety and the abilities to live free. We love you, Miss you, Honor you and Be safe...

So people when you look around today and you are going about doing your normal duties. Remember one thing: It's because of the men and women that fight for us... that we can even do normal every day things.

My choices in music may seemed to be overplayed or underplayed. Taps, 21 gun salute and voices that care. Because I care, love and remember our Armed Forces!!

This is also dedicated to:

A veteran (unknown) holding the helmet of a soldier (his buddy) that had the bullets of sniper fire in it. This man has both the helmet of his buddy and the helmet of the man who shot him. He was in WW2 I. Jima and he told his story. I'm editing this post to add this man and his fallen friend(s).

  • Thanks for the comment and watching.. I'm glad you are back. :) THANK YOU for everything you and your fellow soldiers do. I will always support you guys. :) Take Care :)

  • Thank you so much for this video. I clicked on it and hit the back button to begin with because it is still hard for me to hear TAPS. My dad was an Army vet and died last May. He was buried with full military honors. If you have never been to a military funeral it is really hard to understand exactly what is going through the mind of the family. For me, when they fired the 21 gun salute it was like the bullet went through my heart.I'm glad I listened. I miss you so much Daddy.

  • Both of my grandfathers are Navy and one was career Navy. Taps for me was for some on reason at the time was a comfort because he was so shell shocked. He lived and breathed the Navy (my father's dad is buried in Arlington). But, I can't hear it during memorial day--it just breaks my heart. I know what you mean when you say it hits the heart.

  • Nice Work!

    :^)

  • :) Thank You..
