  • what are the benefits of a crank balance, why is it not done at the factory? how much does it cost

  • @paulhunter123 - The engine runs smoother, it is done at the factory with a tolerance of plus/minus 10 grams. I balance to plus/minus half a gram, or better. Call me about the cost.

  • what is the funcion of the "weights" in the balancing process ? shouldnt be enough to balance withought the weights? thanks man... love your vids

  • @tiagobaracho - Which weights? 'counter' or 'bob' weights?

  • hi,after balancing the crankshaft, does the easy to high rev the engine & eliminates vibration too?tq

  • @wea619 - The engine will rev more freely and without vibration. The revs are kind of controlled by the camshaft, etc.

  • @fiatnutz the weights you attach where the connection rod would be...

If i spin a cranckshaft without this weights it couldn´t be balanced ?

    Thanks

  • @paulhunter123 , if you change rods or pistons then maybe need it done..

  • @fiatnutz oh never mind, you already answered that

  • @fiatnutz i think he means the 'bob' weights

  • Great video as always thanks for sharing!
