@Hoeloe42 Politicians don't seem to be saying much of either, they tend to say "we need more economic growth but at the same time we should probably half-heartedly try and reduce CO2 emissions, but those OTHER countries have to do it first!!!"

Also... they can't provide us with an icepack, and the world as a whole being 4 C warmer is a very different world from if it happened to be 4 C warmer in a specific place, having a fundamental effect on huge numbers of interconnecting climate systems.

nothing sells like a global crisis; this guys a fucking moron. maybe he should read the facts and not the idiotic articles arising in the media, for instance 'global warming is causing global cooling' was a serious article 3 days ago. Antarctic sea ice is increasing, sea levels aren't rising and neither are temperatures.
