3 more must have shown up when we left. We left when the rains hit. 11 or 14, still a FAR cry from the previous year. Was back for the race this year and there were just enough for a full feature which stinks as they always had a healthy field of cars. This experiment was an utter failure for USAC to say the least.

There were a lot of pissed off people there. 11 cars is far from enough. Especially when you had 52 the year before. The new cars were a terrible idea. Ugly and way too expensive for the little guy. I hope we NEVER see these monstrosities again.

I know i may be shot for this, but that's just to darn bad. I love the new cars. I love how they look and sound. I like how the driver sits up in them and i like everything about them.

if these hadnt been the replacement for the old cars, simply a different series it wouldve been better. these cars are cool in their own right but they shouldnt have been a replacement for the silver crowns.
