Bill Maher on France

Bill Maher blasts conservatives who dismiss everything French as if it's somehow now "the ultimate argument winner" (see: "Kerry looks French" or Bill O'Reilly's boycott), then goes off on how conservative social issues tarnish the political process.

The United States would never have won the Revolutionary War without the help of France. Massive amounts of supplies, then military advisors, and finally thousands of troops and the French navy were sent over and proved decisive in the victory of the colonists over Britain.

France help built Independent America, and that help brought down the French monarch leading to French Revolution.

@timfmr They are a great people, but have never escaped a seemingly natural proclivity for envy. They exported their evny based model to Russia and later to Vietnam, Cambodia, China, North Korea and beyond. Exported french envy gave motive to much of what would become the communist world, and subjected hundreds of millions to misery.

@timfmr France It was one of the greatest powers on earth and supported the American revolution, making independece from Britian possible. Its own revolution, however, was a blood letting catastophe. The French revolution was based on venting envy, resentment and hatred.

I don't think calling America "stupid" means to hate, hate is a very strong word, and words mean specific things. Of course he thinks America is stupid; Bill Maher is a hypocritical asshole who likes to believe he is a cynic.
