This is one story from the April 1966 (20th year, no. 4) edition of the British newsreel 'Mining Review', about miner's daughter Dorothy Wright, chief projectionist of the Essoldo cinema in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. 'Mining Review' was a monthly newsreel which was started when the coal industry was nationalised in 1947, and ran until 1983. It was shown mainly in pit canteens, miners' clubs and cinemas in mining communitites.
