@P2TG I think it's only a part of the truth. Of course they thought of money but you also have to admit that Rooney would have never played (and so win) the champion's league at everton, so would torres at Atletico, lampard at everton etc... If you're a footballer (especially if a great one) you dream to win the CL (and any other titles). I think De Rossi would like to win it one time too, that's also something you may think of when your making choices for your career. (
