the rings of saturn are not visible from earth without a telescope. the first to see saturn's rings was galileo in 1610. In 1655, Christiaan Huygens was the first person to describe them as a disk surrounding Saturn. so how can it be pagan? "Double ring" ceremonies are also a modern practice, a groom's wedding band not appearing in the United States until the early 20th Century.

@overlord11111 LOL So adding an extra ring suddenly makes it "not pagan?!" The ancients knew a LOT about astronomy, and those facts were subsequently "rediscovered." How did the ancient Sumerians and Egyptians know what they knew? The Dogon tribe of Africa knew about three stars of Sirius--- how? When the third "dwarf" star was just recently "discovered?"

Its a myth of knowledge, dont look for Astronomy. @petahsz Yes they were obviously a pre-technological culture but they still managed to gather more information on planets celestrial paths then we do today with all of our technology.
