Great video. It let's people know that if you TRY hard enough, you can afford to be healthy.

@LoveIsInfiniteTruth 10 bucks a day for one person is EXPENSIVE , if you have a
family of four, that is 40 bucks a day,
14,600 a year, over 1200 a month.

I live in Southern California, we have quite a few options for organic/farmer's markets. Sprouts, Fresh & Easy, Henry's, Trader Joe's...and honestly, they're not any more expensive than the major "processed" grocery stores. The fresh fruit and veggies are usually cheaper with better deals. We got 4 cantaloupes for $5 and 4 packages of strawberries on sale for $5. It's true, you have to buy seasonal, but the organic has so much more flavor than the clone fruits. It's worth the wait!

The Whole Foods here is close to the store called Native Sun so some of their prices are the same if not slightly cheaper. Whole Foods does have a larger selection.
I'm glad you read the book. Yeah, the meat industry section was quite interesting. I knew things were bad, but not that bad. I felt so sad about the animals after reading it. It's amazing how cruel some can be. Glad you read it and thanks for sharing!

I have got to find a Trader Joe's. Sounds great. Thanks, Cynthia. I don't buy all organic, but I'm buying a lot more these days. Hopefully if we all buy more organic, the supply will increase in the stores and the prices will improve.

Solita,
I do believe that things will turn around and yes, others will start to purchase more organic produce. I've noticed in some stores that the prices are rather comparable depending on what it is. Also, when consuming an all raw diet, your grocery is a lot less.

I LOVE going to Trader Joe's! You can buy bulk American-grown organic fruit & veg in bags that are biodegradable--win-win-win!
Thanks for this post, Cynthia. Tellin' it like it IS!

Thanks for watching and commenting. We don't have a Trader Joes. I think thats more of a western thing and possibly midwest. But it sounds great to me!
