1.17.09 - EARTHA KITT, the definitve singer of "Santa Baby", died on Christmas Day at the age of 88. So many memories! I met her at the Cinegrill that same year. She was there for months. We had great conversations and I was the first one to give her a bouquet of flowers on stage!!!

thank you for this video. she was strong and healthy at that time..today would have been her 82th birthday. i loved her so much and saw her many times since the 1990´s in europe and the usa, the last time in london 2007 (she was still strong, after colon-cancer in 2006).

she gave me a lot of hope, fun, and feeling that live is wonderful ! we had some short conversations, that i will never forget. my prayers are with you, thank you eartha !

I did see her live last concert in London at Pigalle club, it was memorable, She sang and looked in to my eyes as she sang for me "You are too young" I love her and may she rest in peace.X
