@HEAVYWEIGHTFILMS I thank you for your kind word and to answer your question, it depends on what camera you can afford. Most people will tell you the REDONE/Alexia/Sony F3 or The Af100 but not everyone can afford those cameras.So for me is using what you have to create nice angels, shots and images. There are some low cost DSLR cameras that can produce nice images. At the end, it boils down to the shots, angels,images and color grading in post. Hope I answered your question. Again thanks!

As an experienced director / cinematographer with 6 full length features under my belt, I must say the finished product is in the eye of the director and post production. I mean my movies looks no different from major big budget films but I didn't pay nothing close to it. It's just knowing the tricks, angels , good acting, and very good post production. the XL2 is a rip for its price as a camera.. its piss poor in comparison to others that are half its price.
