Produced in April 2008 on site in San Francisco, this "mini-documentary" chronicles the history and alleged hauntings of the country's most famous prison. The film spans 125 years, from the prison's first days as a military garrison to the modern day national park. The film was created by Outcast Earth members Ash, Polaris and Cipher.

  • Dont tell me this I'm going to visit this weekend..and I'm already shitting my pants..

  • @rochaeduardo1 Oh, don't shit your pants! It's a very cool place! Promise!

  • @rochaeduardo1 how was it?you visit to Alcatraz,tell me a highlight ..please..

  • @mantooth3245 The main cell block is usually the most popular feature, although our team members seemed to like the crumbling outlying buildings better. They were just as creepy and more photogenic.

  • @OutcastEarth wow, thats very cool ,soo is the inside kind of refurbished/refreshed from it's original state, and the outside is authentic from it's early days? Just knowing the history and being their and hearing all the stories and knowing that your in that actual location would be a real buzz..Very cool just to think about it....Is it a small island once your on it? Or is it bigger than it appears from when your looking in from the outside, because it does underground a bit dosent it?

  • @mantooth3245 I wouldn't say that anything is "refurbished." Like a lot of national parks, Alcatraz is kept in a state of arrested decay... that is to say that the NPS keeps things from falling down but they don't necessarily restore anything to a "new" state either. The island is small, but there's a lot to see so you can easily spend a day there. There are subterranean areas too, but none of our crew could remember being allowed in them. Maybe through a special or nighttime tour?

  • @x3DD131OKST3Rx yea i agree but they sad thing is that it still goes on today in jails and prisons all across the nation, here in tn the police are trying to bring back a 100 year old law that made public hangings legal they are trying to get the new governor to sign it into law early next year ,whatever town in TN you committed your crime that's were you would be brought and hung in the public square they want to charge admission fee for people out of state to watch.

  • @maverick10241 wellremember backin the days they didnt had no rights so the guards could do whatever they want and now its different

  • i new a guy who,s cousin did time there before it was closed down he said the guards would routinely take prisoners out of there cells and beat them for no reason also that guards would show them sex or nude photos of women as a torture and that guards would pit one con against another con in a fight.he said at night you could here the new cons crying or screaming and guards would turn a hose on them he said guards were sadist and would inflict great pain on them for no reason

  • @OutcastEarth lol
