Playing around with video feature of Canon EOS 500D (Rebel T1i).
Warning: Big file size, so it might takes time to download.
It is the original file directly from the camera. I didn't re-encode, resize or do anything to it.
Movie recording size is 1280x720 - 30 fps. Have yet to try to shoot in 1920x1080.

  • Have u figured out how to stop it adjusting the exposure when you zoom in while filming? it really bugging me, you do it 10 seconds in as you zoom it goes wierd. There must be a way to stop it :(

  • @thorna100 I don't think so. Not with EOS 500D, because I can't set the exposure manually for video.

  • Does it come with built in microphone (cause i heard 450d does not >.<)

  • @Cr1ptlord the EOS 500D has an integrated / built-in mic. But I think it only records Mono audio.

  • How did you get it to focus so easily/smoothly/fast?? please help. thank you.

  • @supbeautifull I use manual focusing. I just turn the focusing ring on the lens.

  • lolololol the song

  • omg what song is this !!! lmaoooo !!!

  • @yuvanboentoro i found out you cant lock the exposure when zooming. You can set the exposure manually though by holding the exposure button and spinning the wheel or by going in the menu

  • @Cr1ptlord that isnt actually video, its what can be done when you plug your 450D into a computer, its a program made by canon in wich you plug your camera into the computer and what the sensor sees is whats fed into the computer to make a 'video'. it can only be done when attached to a computer is technically a whole lots of photos put together as a video, the frame rate is generally below 20 fps wich really is unacceptable. THAT my friend, is what that is =]

  • @MrMatticusFynchCH2 Then what is this o.O /watch?v=237O__qAGU4

  • @Cr1ptlord the 450D would have a microphone if it had video capabilities, durrr
