As with its predecessor, Sonic Adventure 2 had downloadable content available. However, unlike the first title, the game did not support a wide variety of content to download as the game was released after Sega's announcement to discontinue the Dreamcast. It is worth noting that these pieces of DLC were NOT included in the GameCube port, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

This download allows you to take part in an extra Kart Race with an all new car driven by Omochao. The car and track are designed after the Opa-Opa, from Sega's older shooter title, Fantasy Zone.

  • @RavFLYFFblaSonic2pl That's a given. But the controls are really terrible. :p

  • @TsukentoX "It is worth noting that these pieces of DLC were NOT included in the GameCube port, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle." Actually, no. It's been said that either A) Completing all of Rouge's Missions with any rank or B) Get A Rank on all Rouge's stages, You can kart race as EggRobo.

  • @0906smw The E-shaped track that comes with EggRobo is not, however.

  • what the hell is DLC ? emulator or some ? and if it is then how tell hell u get that nice speed fp's of the game W_W

  • @RavFLYFFblaSonic2pl DLC is short for Download Content. o_O I'm not running an emulator, this is recorded footage straight from my own Dreamcast.

  • I'm seriously having a huge nostaliga trip right now.

  • @InwardChaos93 Not that old. Sega was founded in the fifties; Opa-Opa is from Fantasy Zone, a 1986 arcade/Master System shoot-'em-up that can be downloaded on the Wii VC and was included as an unlockable in Sonic's Ultimate Collection. It had a direct sequel, Fantasy Zone 2: The Tears of Opa-Opa, as well as a Japan-exclusive Genesis follow-up (now on Wii) called Super Fantasy Zone.

  • I have the GameCube versions of the Sonic Adventure games, so it's nice to see what I missed out on from the originals. It makes me wish I got a Dreamcast when it came out.

  • @TsukentoX That is correct.

  • @InwardChaos93 Um. Yeah. I guess. Lol. He is in Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing too. :)

  • @BboyStudios97 Old Sega character, as in when Sega first opened up in Japan type old?

  • @InwardChaos93 Lol. It's Opa-Opa. An old SEGA character.

  • If it weren't for Sonic All-Stars Racing I would have NO fucking idea who this is!
