Robotically manipulated induction heating system for a wide range of applications. A small 3kg robot is used to manipulate a small water cooled inductor which is powered by an Ajax TOCCO 5kW radio frequency induction heating power supply. The power supply can be mounted up to 30 meters away from the induction heating coil. The use of robotics provides precise inductor placement. Robotics also provides greater process flexibility required in today's lean manufacturing environment. Our systems are also small enough to be positioned manually by human operators.
