Her speech is tainted with self-interest and profit perspectives, as the voices of those who defend the so-called"sustainability" are.

O Brasil esforça-se muito para preservar a Amazonia. Mas precisamos nos desenvolver. Os países ricos esgotaram os próprios recursos naturais, devastaram suas próprias florestas por completo. E pior, continuam sendo os maiores poluidores do planeta e maiores consumidores. O ideal é desenvolver-se de uma maneira ecologicamente sustentável, mas isso é extrememente difícil no atual status quo global.
